Google Nexus S, the newest Android handset is being released and will be available exclusively from Carphone Warehouse group, the big mobile retail chain!
Nexus S is a “Pure Google” Device. It is an unfiltered way to get up with Google innovations. There is no manufacturer add-ons, Nexus is under Google envisions only.
The Nexus S is the second handset to be released under the Google brand. Here a snippet is provided of what Google is trying to achieve in their newest smartphone. All the specs and design of Nexus 2 is being leaked over the past few months. If you still haven’t seen or maybe you’ve forgotten here’s a reminder for you:-
- 1 GHz Hummingbird application processor with 16GB of memory, this makes Nexus S one of the fastest phones in the market.
- It will also carry a dedicated Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). This makes playing video games, viewing images and watching videos much more fluid like.
The Nexus S is by far and near the same handset as Galaxy S, the biggest difference between the two is that the Nexus S will be running on the Android version 2.3.
This thing will bring up many new features to Android some of which include:-
- Improved memory management, for smoother animation and graphics
- Faster and accurate touchscreen sensors to be more responsive
- Improved video drivers for faster 3D graphics
- Redesigned multitouch soft keyboard, with one-touch selection and copy/paste function
- Faster gaming with support for high-performance native games
