1. Set a Wallpaper by picking up your favorite picture of you or your family
If you want to put your picture or your family friend's picture on to a desktop, all you need to follow the simple steps:
- Open Pictures App on your BlackBerry Playbook Tablet.
- Choose the picture you want to set as your wallpaper.
- Swipe down from the top bezel and select Set as Wallpaper.
TIP: If you want to save an image while using the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet browser, tap and hold for a few seconds, then select Save Image from the dialog that appears.
2. Adjust Sounds for different types of activities like typing or receiving messages
The Tablet allows to change the volume settings, the keyboard feedback volume and the notification sounds. All you need to do is tap the Gear icon that appears on your tablet home screen, then tap Sounds and move the sliders to your preferred setting.
3. Organize your applications and icons and the categories they appear in
Like the desktop PC, the tablet also uses the categories to display your various applications and games. You can customize the order in which they appear and in which category. Just follow the below mentioned steps:
- In the Home screen of the tablet, tap and hold on an icon until it starts to pulse.
- Drag the icon to the category you like to put it in or you can move it to the location where you would like it to appear, if you want to change your icon order.
- After you have finished dragging the icon, tap the checkmark that appears in the category bar.
TIP: While doing this, you will see a trash icon that appears behind the icons they are pulsing. If you tap this, you will be asked if you want to delete the application, so make sure you do not delete it by mistake.
4. Create a Playlist including all your favorite music
To add on some music, you must install BlackBerry® Desktop Software for PC so that you can synchronize some of your music. What’s really nice is that any playlist you make will synchronize to your desktop computer when you are using BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows. Follow the simple steps to make Playlist:
- Open Music application on your Tablet.
- Select or find your favorite music
- Swipe down from the top frame and tap Edit.
- Tap on your favorite song which you would like to add to checkmark it, then tap Add. (Similarly, you can Remove as well by tapping)
- After you have finished adding songs, tap the center of yout tablet to close the Options bar.
5. Select from a wide range of accessories that fit your personal style and needs
