The latest Smartphone from Nokia called Nokia Oro is a premium brand product that incorporates 18-carat gold plating, a sapphire crystal with leather finishing on the back cover. The phone features a 3G and WiFi support, a 3.5 inch AMOLED Display and 8 MP camera with video recording capabilities. There are three customizable home-screens to populate with shortcuts, folders and widgets. Let’s go through the specs to know more about the Nokia Oro:
HARDWARE:
It runs on Symbian Anna operating system and powered by 680 MHz ARM11 Processor with 256 MB RAM and 1 GB ROM. It embedded with 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display. Oro includes AMOLED technology and has a resolution of around 640*300 pixels with multi-touch support, light and proximity sensor. The Oro comes at 117.3*57.5*12.2 mm and weighting 131.7 grams.
Display:
The 18k Gold frame which has been made scratch-resistant come along with Gorilla Glass, which makes it stylish and tough. Along with the use of gold, a real sapphire crystal in the home key makes it eight times tougher than the glass. It is available in two colors dark and white.
Media:
Oro equipped with 8 MP camera with dual LED flash and secondary VGA camera with resolution of around 640*480 pixels. This device offers some advanced features like full focus, tagging, face detection. It also offers FM Radio with RDS. It also supports multiple video and audio formats
Connectivity:
On the Connectivity front, you will get Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, MicroUSB , A-GPS and a 3.5 mm connector. You will also get GPRS, EDGE followed by HSDPDA speeds at up to 10.2 Mbps with HSUPA speed at up to 2.0 Mbps. Next on to the storage, it offers 8 GB internal memory which can be extended up to 32 GB. The Oro has 1200 mAh battery, giving up to 9 hours talktime and 555 hours standby time.
Overall, Nokia Oro designed for a limited circle that requires a different appearance than the smartphone users in general.
