Exploring The HTC Explorer!

HTC Explorer

HTC Explorer previously leaked in some blurry hands on pics is looking much more impressive in the official press shots which have leaked unofficially. This has been an prosperous year for HTC as they prepare to release another Smartphone this year which has been leaked ahead of schedule.

HTC Explorer was previously known as HTC Pico. With its rubberised body and the spec sheet the handset aims as a budget offering in HTC’s range rather than competing with dual-core powershots. HTC Explorer will come in black or blue.

HTC Explorer comes running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense UI on top of it. The phone will be powered by a 600 MHz processor along with 384MB of RAM which sounds not at all cracking. Display of 3.2 inches touchscreen will be present and on the back comes a 5 MP camera.

Explorer will also a feature a special data-control app which will help you monitor your 3G usage so that you don’t end up blowing up your bill.  A 1230 mAh battery will give the handset enough backup.  Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth.

Depending upon the spec sheet the Explorer looks to be priced at £100 - £120.
