The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc was launched in January and now Sony has unveiled successor to it with name Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. It features 8.7mm thick and 117 grams weigh. The Xperia Arc S is slim and lightweight device given the size of the display. In truth there is not much more difference between both but it offer more power and more built in features. It is highlighted due to its 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor. The design of handset is almost same. It will feature 4.2″ LED screen with Sony’s “Reality Display” technology and Mobile BRAVIA Engine. In terms of software you can access content from "Music Unlimited" and "Video Unlimited" in certain markets that makes it different from Xperia Arc. it comes pre-loaded with Android 2.3 operating system which enables faster web-browsing and faster camera startup.
Samsung Xperia Arc S features 8.1 megapixels camera on the back with 3D and 2D sweep panorama photography. It means it has peculiar 3D feature, through which you can take 3D photos but it will appear in 2D. It is also capable of video recording at 720p and features continuous autofocus and a video light. You can pick Xperia Arc S in white, blue, silver, black, and pink color. It will available at the end of this year means at Christmas time, but there is no idea about its price.
