Earlier known as HTC Runnymede will now be known as HTC Sensation XL when it arrives in retail stores in the UK according to recent news reports. This will be the third phone in the Sensation series by HTC after HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE.
HTC Sensation XL will be powered by a 1.5 GHz processor along with 768 MB of RAM. The phone has a 4.7 inch WVGA display.
On the back there will be an 8 MP camera with back-illuminated sensor capable of capturing video at 60 fps and on the front there will be an 1.3 MP camera for video calling. Sensation XL will come with 16 GB of internal memory.
The HTC Sensation will be one of the first handsets featuring the Dr. Dre’s Beats headphones. This comes after the successful acquisition of the company by HTC. Users will have the choice of two distinct types of Beats headphones: ear buds or over the ear cans.
