GOOGLE’S TWO LAVISHING SMARTPHONES: GOOGLE NEXUS S AND GOOGLE NEXUS S 4G


Google come up with their two smartphones namely, Google Nexus S and Nexus S 4G. Google Nexus S 4G is the successor of their older Nexus S and in addition to this add some new features and specifications and also includes flavors of 4G. Both of these phones are an Android based handset with a powerful processor. Let go through the details of these phones and see who will be the better one in both of these Google handsets:



HARDWARE:
Google Nexus S and Nexus S 4G both runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System and powered by 1 GHz Cortex A8 Humming Bird processor. Google Nexus S embedded with 16 GB iNAND flash memory while Google Nexus S 4G offers 512 MB RAM. Both feature a 4.0-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen with resolution of around 480*800 pixels. But Google Nexus S includes some advanced features such as Contour Display with curved screen, anti-fingerprint display coating and capacitive touch sensor for protecting the screen for any external exposure. You will also get five screen, each able to hold 16(4*4) apps. Google Nexus S enclosed within 63*123.9*10.88 mm body and weighing about 129 g. On the other hand, Google Nexus S 4G comes at 124*63*11.2 mm and weighing at 131g. There is not much difference in the physical dimension as both of the phones look similar in all around but Google Nexus S 4G comes is little bit thicker and heavier than Google Nexus S.



CONNECTIVITY:
Now coming on to the camera, both equipped 5-megapixel front-facing camera with the pixel density of 2560*1920 pixels and able to record videos at 720*480 resolution. On the connectivity front, both phones will include all the standard connectivity options that come with an average smartphone such as WiFi, Bluetooth (2.1) with A2DP, microUSB (2.0), A-GPS, NFC and 3.5 mm audio jack but Google Nexus S 4G comes with an advanced option of 4G. Next on to the battery, both of them embedded 1500 mAh battery, gives you 6.7 hours talktime and 17.8 days standby time in 3G.

Both phones have come up with the similar specifications and features in terms of hardware, software, camera or memory. There is not much difference in these phones but Google Nexus S had comes with an added advantage of 4G that make them superior from their older brother. So if you are a true Google fan and looking for an Android phone with 4G capabilities then you can go for a Google Nexus S 4G.
